Timing tool, for Jaguar, Land Rover Ingenium I4 2.0L petrol, PT204 / AJ200, from 2017

Timing tool for overhaul and repair of the Ingenium I4 petrol engines of Land Rover and Jaguar, with engine code AJ200 and PT204.
These engines have been installed in many models since 2017 and have a variable, stepless valve lift with additional camshaft adjustment. Two timing chains, driven by an idler gear, must be adjusted in relation to each other during an engine overhaul.

The timing chain is located at the rear of the engine and is set in the OT position using special tools and colored links according to markings (notches and arrows).

NOTE:
If the CVVL (variable valve train) module is removed and not replaced with a new part, it is absolutely necessary to set all 8 tappets to the reset position. They must not protrude when refitting.
The camshaft positioner control valves may ONLY be used three times. If re-using, mark the screw heads with a ball punch.

Possibly required tightening torques:

Camshaft adjuster control valve: 25 Nm 60 degrees
Idler wheel screw: 35 Nm
Sliding rail middle top: 11 Nm
Sliding rail left top: 25 Nm
Tensioning rail top: 11 Nm
Chain tensioner top: 55 Nm (press to install and release only after tightening)
Sliding rail left bottom: 25 Nm
Tensioning rail bottom: 11 Nm
Chain tensioner bottom: 11 Nm
Drive pulley (flywheel) 30 Nm + 120 degrees
Crankshaft pulley: 4 screws 37 Nm + 90 degrees
