Camshaft fixing for Mercedes M176, M177 with Camtronic® (valve lift control)

Special tool for camshaft adjustment, as an extension of the engine timing kit for M176, M177, M178 on engines with valve lift control (Camtronic®).

Repair work on the M176, M177 engine generation (without valve lift control) can still be carried out professionally and in accordance with the repair manual using our tool kit, item no. 115983.

A change on the part of the manufacturer makes this extension necessary.

NOTE:
In addition to the camshaft fixings, the Mercedes repair manual also lists the hold-down devices under the OEM comparison number W177589024000. These are NOT identical to those in our basic set, item no. 115983, and are therefore required separately.
