Mounting kit for oil seal, crankshaft end face, such as VAG T40048

Oil seal mounting for use on 6 and 8 cylinder engines of the VAG group. To replace the crankshaft seal on the pulley side.

For the seal on the gearbox side, use (depending on engine code and seal):
Part no. 117750 for use as T10122/1
Part no. 117751 for use as T10122/2
Part no. 117752 for use as T10122/3
Part no. 118719 for use as T10122/5
Part no. 118718 for use as T10122/6A

NOTE:
The PTFE seal is dry fitted. To ensure that the high-quality PTFE rotary piston seal fulfills its function optimally, a waiting time of maximum 4 hours must be observed after installation. This prevents the seal from failing again.
