Double sided wheel bolt cap - 18.5mm/ 19.5mm

This double-sided wheel bolt cap features 18.5mm and 19.5mm oversized hexagonal shapes for removing damaged wheel nuts/bolts.
A number of vehicle manufacturers install lug nuts/bolts that have a decorative chrome cap that is permanently molded around the head of the nut or bolt. These caps can become damaged and may not be removable using a standard bushing.
Using the second largest socket, i.e. using a 20mm on a 19mm mounting, increases the risk of the socket slipping out of the mounting, causing damage to the wheel.
The AST6156 double sided oversized socket provides a method to remove 18 and 19mm nuts/bolts with damaged heads. The +0.5mm hex shape fits over the damaged cap and provides a secure fit around the mounting to allow removal from the vehicle.
Chrome-plated wheel nuts and bolts are common on Chrysler, Jeep, Lexus, Toyota and Volvo models.
AST6156 is used in combination with a 1/2" extension, not included.
