Ford 1.0 Ecoboost (chain) petrol engine timing kit


The AST5250 timing kit contains the tools for the latest 1.0 Ecoboost chain drive.
Previous 1.0 Ecoboost engines (2012-2017) are driven by a belt in the oil and are covered by the AST5150 timing kit.
In 2017 released an updated version of the 1.0 Ecoboost engine; cylinder deactivation technology has been added, the belt in the oil has been replaced with a timing chain and a modular camshaft unit has replaced the conventional camshaft covers of the previous engine.
AST6160 5:1 Torque multiplier is required for the removal of the crankshaft pulley and installation of the belt-driven 1.0 Ecoboost petrol engines.
Engine codes are B3DA and B7DA.
